Wildfire In-Home Education: New Red Cross Program Coming to Your Backyard

Wildfires are increasing in number and size across the western US, exposing new communities to the threat of wildfire evacuation destruction.

Join the American Red Cross in an explanation of our work from preparedness, response and recovery, and learn about a new program offering that hopes to address individual preparedness for wildfires in our communities.

This Wildfire Safety Home Visit program seeks to educate families about their specific risks to fire- addressing defensible space recommendations, evacuation planning and kits, and offering connections to free labor for mitigation/defensible space.
