Sending emergency information to the public can be stressful. IPAWS is here to help! Join Justin Singer, FEMA’s Integrated Public Alert and Warning System’s representative, for a presentation on the role of IPAWS in disseminating alerts that you, as Alert Originators, create. Justin will also introduce you to the IPAWS Technical Support Services Facility, which provides a closed and safe environment for Alerting Authorities to improve alerting proficiency, assess operating procedures, train employees, and exercise processes. By the end of the webinar, you will better understand where your alerts go once you hit send and how you can use the new Message Design Dashboard tool to quickly craft alerts during a real crisis.
