This presentation is about a journey that started with the question,  “What do you do when the crime scene tape comes down?”.  That became our reality after a live active shooter event. We will share some steps needed for the additional challenges you may face in the short-, medium-, and long-term aftermath, and examine how businesses can better prepare, respond and recover from active shooter and other mass casualty events.

Don Lynn is the Director of Crisis and Business Continuity Management at Albertsons Companies. A grocery and pharmacy retailer, supplier and manufacturer with 2500 locations in 34 states and DC.

While in the Food Sector for the last 13 years, he is a long time resiliency practitioner with a core background in the following sectors: law enforcement, telecommunications, public utility power, with responsibilities supporting National Security and Emergency Preparedness.
